Evan embarked on his Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu journey in March of 2016 under the tutelage of Tyler Beckley at Findlay Jiu Jitsu Academy. Initially, he began training discreetly while pursuing his college athletic career. However, as his passion for the sport grew and the desire for a post-football hobby intensified, he delved deeper into his training, eager to expand his knowledge.
With six out of his seven years in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu dedicated to assisting in kids’ instruction, Evan is exceptionally well-suited to mentor our young students.
Beyond his teaching role, Evan is actively involved in managing and creating content for PCGA’s social media and marketing endeavors.

Kyle Scappaticci, a Plymouth native, spent his formative years deeply rooted in the community. After graduating from OLGC and spending two years at Gabriel Richard, he completed his education at Salem High School in 2004. Kyle’s involvement in the community has been multifaceted, spanning his ventures in Pestway, Certified Auto Care, and POOf Dog Poop Pickup, culminating in his current endeavor, the Plymouth Canton Grappling Academy.
In 2020, Kyle embarked on his Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu journey under the guidance of John Toth, alongside his wife, Emily, and their three children: Roman, Dominic, and Luna. His burgeoning passion for Jiu-Jitsu led him to assist with kids’ classes, eventually transitioning into a full-time instructor role.
